Description

Sourdough kalitsounia characterize eastern Crete. They are freshly aromatic, fluffy and mouthwatering.

The sweets that are made with the traditional cheese, signal spring and Easter, which are the best seasons of mizithra. Sourdough kalitsounia or “Anevata” are made of fluffy dough and in the middle they have sweet mizithra and cinnamon like a hidden treasure.

They are made based on the Sitia’s traditional recipe.
